ScientificVR® allows to save images in most popular output formats:
Also, images can be printed.
Capabilities of ScientificVR® may be extended using plug-in modules (plugins). Plugins may extend the following subsystems:
Plugins may be developed by vendor and any ScientificVR® user.
This way of one-dimensional scalar values presentation in the form of a plot
holds its place among the simplest and most usable ones.
One of the most pictorial and effective ways of presenting a two-dimensional
distribution of a scalar value in graphic form is depicting it on the computer
screen in the form of dots, each one of them being colored from a certain palette
according to the numerical magnitude of the value represented
Another way of showing a scalar value two-dimensional distribution consists in
using a certain surface in a three-dimensional space, where each point of the
two-dimensional distribution is represented by a dot on the surface whose
height is proportionate to the numerical magnitude of the value in question.
Often a convenient way of presenting the distribution of a two-dimensional parameter is to plot its iso-lines.
Their color can be determined by the numerical magnitude of the given parameter.![]() |

To depict three-dimensional parameters distribution a unique technique of data presentation is employed,
which is based on voxel graphics using semi-transparent color palettes.
Iso-surfaces serve to visualize three-dimensional fields and are similar to iso-lines. Apart from parameters
color presentation iso-surfaces feature a capability to vary the degree of surface transparency.
The abovementioned types of data presentation can randomly be combined, which
makes possible the accomplishment of intricate phenomena complex analysis.
Stream lines hold relevant information as to the structure of vector fields.
These lines can be realized in various forms: strips of stream, tracers of stream,
"stroboscope", etc.
3D animations allow to achieve more comprehensive recognition of phenomenon
or process under consideration.
Animations may be saved using Audio Video Interleave (AVI) file
format with different types of compression (depends on codecs installed).
One of the most important feature of ScientificVR® visualizer is ablility to create
and show stereoscopic images using traditional personal computers.
To see stereoscopic effect user should use a proper video card and stereoscopic glasses
(e.g. ASUS V7100 Deluxe).
